WP-Prosper 2.0 Premium WordPress Theme Now Available
We’re pleased to announce the release of WP-Prosper 2.0. If you’re using WP-Prosper currently, you’ll want to give this a good read before you upgrade.
If you’d like, you can check out the demo site first here.
WP-Prosper 2.0 is Completely Rebuilt
If you’re using WP-Prosper currently, the first thing you should understand is that version 2.0 is a total rebuild. In other words, although it looks nearly identical to the original version, the underlying code is completely different. Therefore, you should treat it as you would a brand new theme.
That means any customizations you’ve made to version 1.0 will not be carried over if you decide to use version 2.0. Also, any settings you’ve changed on the Theme Settings Page will not be carried over to version 2.0.
The reason for the total overhaul is that WP-Prosper 1.0 came out before we created the WP-DaVinci theme framework, which is the codebase that underlies all our latest themes.
WP-Prosper 2.0 Has Many New Features
If you take a peek at the list of features available on version 2.0, you’ll see we’ve added a bunch of new stuff. Here’s a short list:
- Responsive Design Framework
- Featured Pages Slider
- Featured Photos Slider
- Featured Videos Slider
- Alternate Home Page Template for Business Sites
- All Authors Page Template
- YouTube Videos Page Template
- Portfolio Page Template
- Built-In Author Page
- Multiple Post and Page Layout Options
- Featured Page Widget
- YouTube Videos Widget
- Category Posts Widget
- Social Networking Icons Widget
- Footer Widgets
With these added features, along with a cleaner, more efficient codebase, we’re pretty sure you’ll love this new version even more than the original.

Great Theme! and thanks for the comments and suggestions
Hi Michael,
I set up a test side with the prosper team and facing two issues:
1. The activate the homepage slider in the theme menue panel. It shows up but doesn’t show any posts. Where do I select the posts that should appear in the slider?
2. If I set up menues for the navigation and select them, the menues completely disappear on the front end?
Would be great if you could help.
Regrads,
Bjorn
Please post theme support questions on the support forum so our support staff can assist.
If I decided to upgrade my wp-prosper 1.0 site to the new wp-prosper 2.0, will I have to pay for the new site or does the upgrade come with the fee I’ve already paid?
If you’ve already purchased the theme, the upgrade is free. Just login to the members area and download it.
Another great work ! I love it
I use WP-Mystique for my blog and I really enjoy day by day.
Thanks Claude
I’m about to launch a site based on wp-attract. Now I’m concerned that I will not be able to upgrade wp-attract at a future date and have to start over like wp-prosper users.
Would I be better off switching to wp-davinci before I go live to avoid a future upgrade problem or is wp-attract already on the new wp-davinci framework?
WP-Attract is already using the WP-DaVinci framework.
This WP theme looks cool, elegant and loading so fast, however, I think if it’s a new responsive theme is much more better.
Thanks Trung.
Any plans for a WP-Genius 2.0?
Yes, definitely. Don’t have a release date set though.
Great rebuild Michael! Love the authors page, video page options and three sliders. I think I have a couple clients who will love this theme.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much Judith.
Hi Michael,
the theme is very beautiful!
One question: is possible have different sidebar for pages and post?
It’s not something that is built into the theme. It can be done, but you’d need to use a plugin or have some customization done.
