We’d used Media Mag since moving to WordPress but chose Clear for its responsive properties. It works pretty well on all devices tested, and our readers are very happy.

This is my 3rd website, my first time working with Solostream theme and my favorite theme to date. I am certainly no “techie” but I found the instructions easy to follow and theme highly customizable. There have only been a couple of occasions I was stumped and posted a comment to the forum. Both times I received clear, easy to follow assistance within a short time. I wouldn’t hesitate to use a Solostream theme again and have recommended it several times since my purchase.

The outstanding attributes of this theme are actually common to most of the Solostream themes, however there are a few select features that are unique to the Blossom theme that I really like.   The Blossom theme is such an easy theme to use and adapt to a personal style.  As you can see, I used my own store header and adjusted all of the site colors to compliment the color choices of the header.



I love the slider on this theme.  The entire featured photo shows without description overwriting.  The text is offset on the left side of the photo which is perfect for this particular site.



I also prefer having a primary navigation bar above the header and a secondary navigation bar below the header.  I use the primary for the “about me” and “contact me” pages and the secondary for my category tabs.



The Feature Post Widget allows me to layout a home page design and easily change it when desired.   I also use a variety of additional widgets on the home page including the Subscribe Box and Featured Category Sliders.



My personal favorite feature of this theme, and all of the Solostream themes that I have used, is the CSS Stylesheet Editor that allows me to add code to the theme without opening individual editor sections.  This is such a great feature!  It is one of the main reasons I recommend Solostream themes to all of my website creating friends.

I was new to WordPress and looking not only for a stable and good looking theme but for an organization that provided support via a help desk and forums.  I found what our club was looking for in Solostream’s WP-Visual.  The theme was the underpinning of  the creation of over 60 pages and 2,000+ images that formed our new site in under 30 days.  One of the most significant benefits gained was the theme’s compatibility with critical plugins that expedited the addition of functionality.  Things like backup to DropBox, a members only section, robust calendar, interactive galleries and albums, and a classified section for our members to use were simple drop-ins to the theme.



Whenever I had a question with regard to customization, the Solostream team was responsive, even to the point of providing critical code to overcome a few formatting challenges.. Since going live the beginning of December of last year, we are approaching 25K visitors and 85K page views.. This is five times the traffic we had on our old traditional site that we replaced.  Using the theme saved development time and allowed our club to meet key promotional objectives with regard to the hosting of our largest fundraising event held in January of this year.



I do believe that the combination of well designed theme coding and a knowledgeable and accessible support team makes it easy for our club to endorse Solostream

I’ve really enjoyed using this theme, especially because of the homepage options and layout. It’s hard to find a nice looking 3 column template that doesn’t look too cluttered. However, I have experienced issues with the slider—the narrow width slider is not displaying the images (besides the thumbnails) and the large slider is very slow to load the images (even with low res images). I also have a strange blank space above my category widgets on the homepage and above every post.

With the help of the outstanding technique support at SoloStream, we have been able to modify the WP Clear theme to meet our needs. Whenever we have come across a need to tweak the layout, css or other options, the support we have received has been top-notch.

I love this theme for its flexibility, ease of use, and ease of customization. It’s my very favorite theme for magazine- and membership-style sites. In this use, the site is an arts guild, and I/they wanted to showcase members’ work AND offer members-only content. This was easy to accomplish with wp-enlightened.

I love the simplicity and spaciousness of  of this theme–and the ease with which adaptations can be made–for example, see my portfolio. The choice of typography is also excellent: authoritative but doesn’t scream at you.  I like and use all the selections of headings which give my site variety. I also like choices of layouts and how easy it is to change the layout–and then change it back if it doesn’t work. Thanks for the tutorials as well–very helpful. I’ve had SO MANY complements also.
