Before I buy the product I hacve a couple of questions
1) Is this compatable with 3.0.1
2) is it possible to remove the catigories navigations from the top of the home page and only have page navigation
3) Can some of the social navigation be removed, I don’t do twitter and dont want it to show.

The single use option allows you to use the theme on *just one wordpress site at a time.* If you put a site up then quit, you can use the theme on a different site as long as it’s not being used on the first one.

I’ve tested it on WP 3.0 Beta version and it work fine, except it does not have the Nav Menu system built in. That’s pretty easy to add though.

Hi there!
I have decided to take it upon to myself to create my own WordPress site – and I have zero technical skills!
With WP – Prolific – or any of these themes – is it possible to create a LARGE opt-in box on the right hand side of the page? (Currently where the widgetized sidebar is?) And then put the widgetized sidebar BELOW the opt-in box?

Hi Eric. Yes, you can add your own header to the theme. The specific size is flexible. I’m not familiar with WP Spire so can’t say if ti would work with the theme or not.

Hi George. The theme is only available in English. You are welcome to make any changes within the code that you like. You would need the Premium (multiple use) license if you’ll be using the theme on more than one wordpress-driven site. If you have multiple domains pointing at the same wordpress-driven site (not a good idea for SEO), the Basic license is fine.

1. At top hand right of the WP-Prolific theme there is four link buttons named ”
Subscribe, Archives, Tags, Popular .. Can I change those links content-wise in this order: Popular, Archives, Tags, Subscribe
2. I use PayPal and my id is resumevivek@gmail.com so i hope when i pay using this account all the theme files will be delivered to me in same email-id (resumevivek@gmail.com)
3. Can I do little alterations by changing little code in php files/images/css .. For Eg: i want to place an image-logo at top left side instead of text… also i want to use different color scheme as per to my choice and different text format with different font size… I hope i can do all this ?
4. I assume that there would be no internal script file in whole theme that may loose my privacy
5. Once i purchase the theme I will be the 100% owner of this theme ..

2. As i said, the files are sent to the email used during the purchase process.
3. Yes.
4. No, there’s no “internal script file” within the theme that may lose your privacy.
5. Technically, no, you do not “own the theme” when you purchase. By purchasing a theme, you are purchasing a license to use the theme. That license give you permission to use the theme on your own site or multiple sites that you own (Premium license). You may make any modifications to the theme that you like, but you may not redistribute it in any way.

What i did was i clicked on “ADD TO CART” and it took me to 2 icons named “PayPal” and “Google Checkout” lets say i clicked on “PayPal” and it shows me “Jigsaw Group, LLC” page if i use “PayPal” account from there My question is:::
On which email account i will receive the Word-press files/theme ?

Hi Vivek. The download file will be sent to the email address you use in the checkout process.
You will receive all theme files. If you would like PSDs, there’s a download link on the theme page once you activate the theme.
The download link will be delivered within a few minutes after your payment is completed though paypal.
There are install and set-up instructions on the WP-Prolific demo site here: http://wp-prolific.solostreamsites.com/2009/install-and-set-up/. If, after reading those instructions, you still have questions, you can post them in the Support Forum.

Hello Michael,
It is a wonderful theme but can you have a template attribute to create a new page since the appearance editor is not enabled?
In other words installing an Amazon astore, for example, you need to create a new page template where you are going to put your astore link. Can you tweak wp-prolific to do this?

You’d have to create a new page template. You could simply modify the existing page.php template built into wp-prolific and save it under a different name, perhaps something like page-store.php. Then upload it and select it as the page template when you create the page for your store.

Is the WP-Prolific theme the theme is only available in russian or/and hebrew languages? I mean is it possible to translate commands in control panel, like this : “Search results” for “Результаты поиска” and so on? so that readers and users could understand why and what for all these buttons.

1. So, I can place a text widget on the right top and it can have my Photo + some text for about me. I am in real estate and need my photo stuck everywhere :-).
2. The featured articles are controlled via the Featured category.
3. In the boxes below it, I can select what Category to show.
4. In the Other Recent Articles, it simply shows the rest of the articles. Does it display most recent ALL articles, or based on category?
5. In the Featured article I see an image, when I click on it, does the same image show inside the article? In your article I see a different image. I don’t have many images, my articles have one image which I would like to show both on featured and in boxes, as well as inside the article when you open it up.
6. Can the tags be a cloud?
Is it possible to embed video from youtube?

1. Yes, you can place whatever you like in a text widget.
2. Yes, the featured category.
3. Yes.
4. Other recent articles display most recent ALL articles.
5. The featured article image will also appear in the post content if you insert it into the post content. If not, it will not appear.
6. Tags can not be in a cloud without customizing the theme.
7. You can easily embed Youtube videos in a WordPress site regardless of the theme. Just paste in the embed code when you write a post or page, or paste the embed code into a text widget.

Thanks for the kind words Ángel.
The theme is compatible with WP 2.9.1, and the plugins used by the theme are as well.
There are no footer widgets built into the theme, but you could add them if you know what you’re doing with code.
The featured glider could be be changed – again – if you know what you’re doing with the code.
If you do not know your way around the code, we could customize the theme for you for an extra charge.

Hi JM. Aside from the Theme Settings Page, we have used the gettext function throughout the theme. You would need to create a .po file for translation however.
