Themes so good, they sell themselves!
I’ve been a WordPress user since 2006. During that time, I’ve tried nearly every theme on the market from Thesis to the Genesis Framework.
As well, I’ve also been forced to learn a ton about editing .css files and some basic php. I run multiple sites and the DaVinci framework is the only one in which I can launch a new site design with customizations in five minutes flat.
The DaVinci framework options panels are just so good and easy to use, those without any basic coding knowledge can setup the site they want without the headaches or steep learning curve of editing code. For more advanced WP users, it’s a huge timer-saver.
Solostream + SEO Ultimate (a free WP plugin) equates to the absolute best SEO setup any site can have. Some other themes, notably those from the Genesis Framework, come with prepackaged, basic, inadequate, and flimsy SEO plugins built in.
Guess what? It conflicts with SEO Ultimate and trying to just shut it off (the prepackages SEO plugins) to avoid this conflict is a challenge in and of itself.
Sells itself? To start with, my sites generate a fairly substantial amount of revenue through display or cpm ad networks. At the same time, I’ve never made a single penny from affiliate programs though I do use some affiliate banner ads for unsold inventory.
When I first switched to Solostream–was using the Prosper theme at the time, I added your affiliate link in the footer.
Keep in mind, my sites are in the health and fitness niche as opposed to a WordPress themes or blogging niche. Without a single post about your themes or any promotion outside of a footer affiliate link, I had still made some decent money over and above all of the various themes that I purchased from Solostream with your previous pricing plan/affiliate offer.
Needless to say, it’s still the only money I’ve ever made from an affiliate offer!
Lastly, your support forum is top-notch and the best I’ve personally come across thus far!

What you see once your site is up using DaVinci is impressive for sure. But what you don’t see is even more impressive. I wanted to install a jquery slideshow and needed to dig into the DaVinci code (not the movie). This gave me a chance to look at the architecture behind the scenes in this software. I discovered that amongst other things, the software is designed for maximum search engine recognition, and to be able to handle any changes the user might need to do, such as moving your wp files to an alternate location and still have your site running. There are so many things in the background that are designed so well. Really Impressive!

I’ve been using DaVinci since January 2011 and I’ve been incredibly happy with it. Coming from building my own HTML sites, DaVinci has been a very pleasant change. I now spend more time on building my content than on formatting that content, a big deal for a small company!

I have a lot of plugins running and it just chugs and chugs.

It is the better theme of the Solostream theme and I really recommend you to buy the theme.
I’d recommend this theme to anyone without hesitation.
For the past three months, I’ve been using the Solostream Prosper theme. Prior to that, I had tried numerous other themes and even resorted to designing a child theme myself.
As the co-founder of the Hive Health Media blog network, I was looking for a theme that was quick to setup, had layout and theme options, and most importantly was configured for optimum ad locations. Oh and it had to look great too. Our network is a member publisher of the Glam Media health and wellness vertical, so being able to setup optimum ad locations was essential.
After considering Thesis, Headway, and StudioPress, I found that only the Solostream theme met our criteria of being easy to customize, setup, optimize ad locations with little hassle, and create unique looks for different websites with minimal effort. I’d recommend this theme to anyone without hesitation.
For those bloggers interested in running a true magazine-style website, I’d say you cannot go wrong with a Solostream theme.
I purchased WP Prolific and hired Solostream to tailor the theme specifically for The Financial Brand. I could not be happier. The theme is as flexible as it is powerful. Mike and Alistair are both true WordPress masters. They did an excellent job, and it didn’t even cost an arm/leg. Some of the things I really appreciate:
+ 100% plugin compatibility, and I’m using a whopping 38 total.
+ Even though my knowledge of CSS is limited, I’ve been able to further expand and refine the site with ease.
+ Solostream tricked out my Twitter Tools plugin by creating a cool CSS style to replace bit.ly links with a sexier “> MORE” graphic. Now readers don’t have to look at ugly, confusing short-URLs in the tweets that stream in the site’s sidebar from @FinancialBrand.
+ If you use the Theme Preview plugin, you can do all your development work without interrupting or affecting the current look of your site.
+ The new WP Prolific theme for TheFinancialBrand.com — complete with 8 ads, 1 video, a 6-article slideshow and 15 other articles (all with preview images) — loads in an impressive 5.8 seconds.
+ Incorporating a third-party “Subscribe” form in the sidebar tab has resulted in a 300-400% increase in new subscribers.
+ The click-through rate for existing ad locations has increased about 25% from before- and after the launch of WP Prolific.
+ Additional ad locations were added to the theme, creating maximum income potential. I’ve already pre-sold 33% of my advertising inventory, and there’s still almost two months to go. I am going to make a lot of money using this theme.
For those bloggers interested in running a true magazine-style website, I’d say you cannot go wrong with a Solostream theme.

I had used Solostream’s Vybe and Prolific themes for the past couple of years, but I recently bought Prosper to take advantage of some new features. What did I get for $79? A no-hassle theme that allows me to present my articles easily and professionally.
At my site, Dangerous Intersection. (http://dangerousintersection.org/), I often address contentious issues of the day. It is critical to me that my 5,000 daily visitors find the design of my site easy on their eyes to help keep the tone of the conversation even and because some of my articles are substantial in length. Prosper gives me exactly what I need; it easily accommodates the various WordPress plugin’s that I use. The Prosper theme is also fast-loading, which is critical, given that my server spins out 7 million pages each year.
Most important, the Solostream team responded quickly to my inquiries regarding three technical issues; they even offered me a bit of custom code to adjust Prosper’s glider feature. First rate customer service like this allows me to concentrate on writing for my website rather than struggling with site design. You might not even need to deal directly with Solostream’s team, however, because many of the most common questions are addressed on Solostream’s forum.

I moved to the WP-Smooth theme shortly after it was released last year and am delighted with the results – and I get many positive comments from my readers.
Although I am not a programmer, I found it relatively straightforward to modify the theme to give it a unique look and feel. Solostream did some further customization work for me at a very reasonable fee.

I‘m Ramona, a German freelance journalist and Public Relations manager. I have to mention this, because you’d better understand why I want to use a theme like Prolific basic. As a professional writer I publish editorial content of several topics on http://www.hapke-media.com/.
I was looking for a theme with the following requirements:
1. magazine style
2. social media features
3. widgets
4. professional appearance
5. flexible

With the Solostream theme I got just that. Sure you can find lots of free themes in the web. But support is important for me. Everything I publish is a kind of reputation. If I show the theme to my customers it should work without any errors. I decided to pay for Prolific.
By the way this theme has a good backend administration. I wouldn’t need it because I can modify html and css code (I modified css a bit.). But for many other users it can be a benefit. … The Prolific basic theme of Solostream is a professional theme with flexible design and a wide range of features. Users get support in the forum and can send a personal message to the Solostream team, of course only up to a certain amount. I have to thank Alistair and Mike for their support emails!

I love Solostream themes because they just look more balanced and versatile. Lots of different zones that together look great. I’m not a big fan of animation but what you have done is keep the flash simple and functional rather than show off programming. Also they are intuitive layouts with a good hierarchy.
