38 Minutes to More Traffic for Your Blog

Check out this podcast from two of my favorite savvy solopreneurs, Yaro Starak and Darren Rowse, on how to increase traffic to your blog. Darren gets in excess of 5k visitors per day to his Problogger site, and Yaro recently surpassed the 1k visitor-per-day mark on his Entrepreneur’s Journey site. I’d say they might know what they’re talking about.

SavvySoloCAST #28 - MicroISV: From Vision to Reality With Bob Walsh

Bob Walsh (ToDoOrElse.com and Safari Software) just published a book titled MicroISV: From Vision to Reality. I spoke with him this past Friday about the MicroISV movement as well as his new book. For the uninitiated, MicroISV = micro independent software vendor. Even if you’re not a software vendor, I think you’ll find the interview interesting as we discuss some of the latest trends related to small business and doing business on the web.

SavvySoloCAST #26 - Buying and Selling Blogs - How Much Are They Worth (Part 1)?

Last week, I sold my main blog, Small Business Branding, to my friend Yaro Starak. Everyone wanted to know what the selling price was, so we decided to do a case-study type of conversation about buying and selling blogs or websites. In particular, we discussed how to value a blog or website you’re considering buying or selling. The conversation was about an hour long, so I split it up into two separate podcasts. This is Part 1 of the discusion. Running time is about 34 minutes.
