Do your Wordpress themes contain any spyware or adware?

Absolutely not!

Unfortunately, it’s true that there are some less-than-scrupulous Wordpress theme designers out there who have embedded various scripts and snippets of code within the Wordpress themes they release to the public.

I can assure you that you’ll find none of that on any of the themes available here at Solostream.

In fact, the only links embedded in our Wordpress themes are a link back to Solostream.com and a link to Wordpress.org. And you are free to remove those links if you like. You’ll find them in the Footer template of each theme.

    I’ve been seeing this more and more. So I went ahead and wrote a plugin to scan activated themes for suspicious code.

    It’s nothing fancy right now, but it scans all the theme files for PHP functions that can be used for malicious purposes.
